I continue with my personal odyssey in the visual aspect of my musical project. I hired a fantastic artist named "La Espiral Oscura" to reinvent the cover of two of my works. Specifically, he worked on the cover of the LP titled "Immensity" and the single "Beyond The Oort Cloud." My intention was to keep working with him, but the project doesn't make money, and I couldn't afford to keep paying for his services. To maintain stylistic consistency, and as I said in the previous post, I had to revert to the original covers for all my works. Covers that were stock images from the Finnish artist 'Grandeluc.'
Finally, I have found a solution. It is using the generative image AI 'Midjourney,' which, in its version 5, has achieved incredible results, very close to what I was looking for. Most of the images have been edited by me, but obviously, the AI has done the work.
I know this brings controversy. Can AI take jobs away from artists?
But let's look at it this way: Midjourney hasn't taken any work away from an artist because, without it, I wouldn't have been able to hire anyone either. So it's a tool that opens up new horizons.
This is the incredible result:
